Re: Support Letter – National Black Business Association
Dear Ms. Chu:
The National Black Business Association (NBBA) has our support in its application to the Public Counsel Law Center’s pro bono attorney program. We are well aware and pleased with the NBBA’s useful business development programs produced for existing and emerging entrepreneurs. Accordingly, this letter serves as a statement of affirmation that the NBBA operates very important business assistance, outreach, and supplier contract matching processes.
Our nonprofit agency, the Southland Partnership Corporation and our subsidiary, the POWER Collaborative Network (1500 job development members), serves as a job referral, and social services collaborative agency for South Los Angeles, Compton and Long Beach California. For more than a decade our organization has consistently appreciated the NBBA’s guidance in workforce development and business expansion activities. Our outreach work has benefited immensely from the NBBA’s essential resources effecting quality socioeconomic community growth.
In view of that, on behalf of our nonprofit agency, I endorse the NBBA for its enthusiasm and dedicated assistance to small business as an indispensable economic tool needed to successfully win over new customers and explore product marketing opportunities. As such, the NBBA is a valuable asset toward elevating black business enterprises in order to gain access to viable capital and contract opportunities offered by the major public and private sector institutions. Even though this is a complex task, the NBBA is a great management organization that encourages its participants to collaborate and strategically align themselves with other small business groups to help facilitate positive outcomes.
Thank you for reviewing our letter of recommendation as we anticipate a continuance of our professional relationship with the NBBA. Should you have any questions, my office telephone number and email address are (310) 637-7248 and Bizpartnership@aol.com, respectively.
